CARING FOR YOUR SILVER JEWELLERY
A simple home made solution can be made by adding one teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to 500ml of boiling hot water, put this solution into a glass baking dish and drop the silver items into the solution until any tarnishing has disappeared. Rinse the silver with water and gently buff it dry with a soft towel.
Silver dips are easy and convenient but should not be used for items of jewellery with gemstones.
Always clean with a soft cloth or better still a special silver cleaning cloth. Be careful if your jewellery has gemstones especially ones that are porous such as Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise or Pearls as the chemicals will damage them. Do not use dips of any sort for items of jewellery with stones. You can clean these items with a cream silver cleaner taking care not to get the cleaner anywhere near the stone.
Tarnishing is caused by oxidization and moisture from the air, it firstly appears as a golden colour but quickly turns black.
Never leave your silver jewellery lying against bare wood. Wood, especially oak, contains an acid that will mar the surface of the silver. Paper and cardboard, since they are wood pulp products will also have the same effect, so try to avoid storing silver in envelopes or cardboard boxes.
Try to store your silver jewellery in small sealed plastic bags, this will protect it from rubbing and scratches it also protects it from the air which causes it to tarnish quickly. THE SECRET IS TO WEAR YOUR SILVER JEWELLERY ON A DAILY BASIS!

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
We try to ensure that all our jewellery sold is of excellent quality and craftsmanship and is only sold if it is in perfect condition. Sometimes on rare occasions faults do occur or the item may become damaged in transit. Under these circumstances we will be pleased to exchange the item or offer a full refund including the cost of returning the item to us.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY
You have a statutory right to cancel and return your order at any time up to 14 working days after receipt. If you wish to cancel and return your order anytime during this time just let us know by email in the first instance at firstname.lastname@example.org - We request that you return the item complete with its original packaging for a refund. Unfortunately no refund of the original postage costs will be made unless of course the item is found to be faulty or damaged. We also recommend that you return the item to us by insured Special Delivery Post. Please note that the cost of returning the goods to us is not refundable. Upon receipt a full refund will be issued back to you. PLEASE NOTE: No refunds are given on earrings for hygienic reasons.
